High-rise jeans

I guess this is a trendy cut for jeans this fall?  Or maybe it's been in for awhile and I'm behind the times? 

What do y'all think?  My mom-belly is kind of excited about it, but on the other hand I'm afraid they'll look kind of unflattering, especially from behind.

    Eh, I like my low waisted ones. I wouldn't wear shirts tucked in though. Weird.

    I definitely feel like that would only accentuate my fuup.

    Plus I am cheap and would not pay more than $50 for a pair of jeans...

    I have a pair of jeans that are kind of somewhere in the middle of a low rise and these.  I kind of like them because they help with the mom belly, but I always make sure to wear long shirts with them.  I might have to go find a pair of these to try on though.

    I think these are best suited on someone who is tall and skinny, of which I am neither. 

    However I am a fan of the tucked in shirt and can sometimes pull it off with work clothes, skirts and layers.

    I have a pair that's not quite as high waisted as these and all of my leggings are high waisted.  (leggings I have are more like pants with a button and a zipper.)  The only thing they help with is you can sit on the floor and not feel like you have to pull your pants back up every time.  And muffin top.  But they accentuate your fupa.

    I really think my mom still has a few pairs of super tight high waisted jeans from the 80's. Do these come with the pliers to get them on?

    I guess my UO is that I kind of dig them!  I wouldn't wear a short or tucked-in top with them, though, because of the long flat azz situation.

    Skinny jeans and high waisted jeans are for skinny people. Not moms. It just accentuates your fupa.

     Right before I got pregnant I could finally wear skinny jeans. Damn baby.

    Oooh, can you PIP?  Those are the pair that inspired this post.  I love them.  They look similar to the Avedon Slick Skinny style that apparently COH isn't making anymore, which makes me cry because they are the best, most-flattering jeans I've ever owned.

    Have you ever tried Paige demin? I haven't bought any Paige's since before baby, but their straight leg jeans are amazing. The have just the right rise height and the perfect cut leg. Nothing flashy on the pockets too. 

    If you like the Avedon, have you tried the Ava straight legs by COH? They are similar and they fit like a dream.

    I am waiting on this pair to come in the mail.... My sister has them and they are AMAZING. Dream denim.

    I am with you! I guess we should have saved this for Thursday? I think they are super cute and I hate bending down in low rise jeans. My azz always hangs out.

    I'm good with like, an 8-9" rise. No more, no less. I suppose it is a bit "mom" of me, but I really hate when my crack is out for the world to see.
