DD is the pee/poop queen today. We have gone through 5 diapers in the last two hours. She absoluetly refuses to be wet/dirty so I have to change her immediately. Everyone go buy stock in pampers, its gonna have a great4th quarter.
My dd is in that same phase right now....only part that bugs me is the fact that I'm cloth diapering! YAY! More laundry!
Ah, but think of all the trips to the store you're not taking and all the money you're not spending! I hate extra diaper laundry but I hate spending money more.

Very much agree with you! I like not spending the extra money.
I am SOO glad it's not just me. My daughter refuses to let the pee or poop touch her for more than a second. She screams bloody murder. We went through 20 diapers yesterday! I even called the pediatrician today to make sure it's normal.
Not trying to start an argument because I would totally rather CD just haven't gotten DH into it, but don't you pay for H2O and electricity to launder?

ditto (except i lack patience to CD). haven't the water bills gone up in your households? what about $$ for detergent?

Neither my water nor my electricity bill has risen significantly. It's like 3 extra loads a week for me.

Not if you are already doing a load, and really the cost of water/electricity is nothing compared to the cost of disposables, even if someone is doing diaper laundry every day.
DD is 2 months old. I have only bought one bottle of detergent ($5.89) and my water bill increased by $2 and my electric bill increased by $1.73. I know those numbers because I just looked at them with DH this morning. I bet you spend more than $10 in 2mo. I know I had the original cost of the diapers but I'll still spend less in the long run.
