ER set for tomorrow - not feeling very positive

Hey ladies, So DH convinced me it was good to cycle so soon and I finally gave in and said fine. Well my cycle has been going less than stellar and ER is set for tomorrow. I cried at almost every monitoring appointment and certainly before and after each one. Yesterday the nurse told me a particular dr (who I HATE) is scheduled to do my ER and I bursted out in tears and started yelling that I am not going to let him touch me and that I refused to trigger (yes - can we say crazy). My E2 level were around 1500 so they should (G-d willing) get some eggs but certainly not like my last cycle.

Just not feeling very positive at all. My emotions are running high and I feel like I could cry and kill (yes at the same time) at any moment.

    No offense, but I kinda want to punch your DH in the nose (not too hard, just to get his attention).  Sounds like you just needed a little more time still. 

    ((((hugs))))  Blame the drugs, breathe, and one minute at a time.  Are you doing ET right away or is there a chance you can freeze all and do a FET later?

    Thanks hun. You can go ahead and punch DH as hard as you want - he is probably still getting the hot frying pan (complete with the omelet still in it) off of him - yes, yesterday was bad in my house. All he says is "you can do this" - I know I can, I just can't seem to do this right now.

    As far as freezing goes - My embies are never good enough quality to freeze (that is at least whatever makes it to transfer) so they would only do fresh. Like I told my therapist - either way I am going to be a mess. A BFN might send me over the edge but then again a BFP might tip me there as well.

    I think after what you have been through these feeling are normal and couple that with the amount of drugs you are on and I am not surprised at all.  Hang in there and I will be sending you good thoughts for tomorrow.

     

    As far as DH, they have no idea.  Really, they don't.  They may love us and support us the best way that they know how but I truly believe that it is different for women.  I haven't been through nearly what you have but after 3 IUI's and five IVF cycles, I want to punch him every time he acts like all those years were just a little bump in the road.  To me they weren't, they have changed me.

    I leave in about 20 min, transfer is in a hour in 20 min.  I'm a bundle of nerves all of a sudden despite being so calm about this cycle leading up to today. 

    See if "Tangled" is on!  She's pretty good with a frying pan too and might make you giggle some Smile

    I am so sorry you have been having such a tough time.

    If it helps...  My current pregnancy came from IVF3 and my e2 was the lowest out of all of 3 cycles when I triggered.  Good news, it worked out to be our best cycle. 

    I truly hope that things go well for you tomorrow and of course in the upcoming weeks and months.

    1500 is a GREAT E2 level! I totally understand how you are feeling, though. My recent IVF after losing the twins just felt like a punishment and it made me so angry that I was back doing IVF in the first place. I am wishing you all the luck in the world. (((hugs)))

    1/2013: IVF/ICSI #4 Low-dose stim/Antagonist (AFC=6); ER=1/26 (5R-couldn't access rt ovary, 5M, 4F), ET=1/29 (trans 3) = BFP!; 2/11 beta#1(13dp3dt)=2127, 2/13=3367; twin girls due 10/19/13
