Improvements

Your thoughts must have done the trick today because we had a WAY better day.

DS started off a little dehydrated since stopping all IV fluids. The surgeon called in the anesthesiologist and he started an IV with the first try! He has gotten Motrin and Tylenol all day so he has been so much more comfortable. He's been pooping and peeing all day and even took a few nice long naps! That means I finally got a few hours of sleep too!

DH was finally able to come up. He took me out to eat, first time I have left the hospital since Monday. DS slept the whole time we were gone so I felt much better knowing that!

Hoping tonight goes well and we can get the IV out soon. I am still not counting on going home tomorrow but maybe Tuesday. I miss my bed!

Ths only bad thing from today was that I left my wallet at the hospital with my ID in it so no drinks for me. SD doesn't sell alcohol to take home with you on Sunday's, otherwise I totally would have had DH buy a bottle of wine for me! Oh well, could be worse!

Yay! So good to hear he's doing better. And that you both are getting some much needed rest. Will keep those warm thoughts headed your way so you can get your bed back (and a bottle of wine!!).

I'm so glad to hear that he's doing better!! Hopefully today will go well and you can be home soon. You deserve an evening of pampering and good wine!
