  • Thursday--5 mile run

    Friday--5 mile run

Saturday--20 minutes of stair intervals and weight training

Sunday--sick with migraine, so rest day.

I ran a total of 20 miles last week! My goal is to do it again this week.

I am about 5 lbs from PP weight, and 10 pounds from my ideal goal weight. I can fit into my "barometer" jeans from high school but I still have quite a belly. It seems like all my weight hangs onto my tummy and arms!

I've never participated in this, but would like to start! I'm below my pp weight, but i'm really trying to get back into working out. I used to be an exercise nut but now I have made too many excuses to get back into a good routine. I started couch to 5k this week! I used to be a competitive runner, so i'm really excited to get back into it.

Thursday: Walk 2 miles with baby jogging stroller

    Friday: Week 1 Day 1 C25K w/jogging stroller

    Saturday: off

    Sundayd: Week 1 Day 2 C25K w/jogging stroller

  • Thurs - 3 mile run

    Fri - 3.5 mile run

Sat - nothing formal, but I did walk around a museum and part of Baltimore for 2.5-3 hrs while carrying E, so that should count for something!

Today - 25 min kettlebell workout

I am 2 lbs from a goal weight, and one that is actually 15lbs under my heaviest pre-pregnancy weight (put on a few too many while TTC).  I'm so excited to reach that milestone, then I have another 10 lbs to be at the weight I was when we got married.  Hoping my half marathon training (officially starts next week) will help take the rest off!

Hoping my half marathon training (officially starts next week) will help take the rest off!

This is what I am hoping too.  I was in a huge need to have something to work towards besides just seeing the scale move.  Although losing weight is big motivation to work out, knowing that I am signed up for a race is helping me a ton already, and I haven't even started "officially" training.  It's also helping me a lot with my diet.  I've been logging in to my fitness pal for 2 weeks now and those last few pounds are coming off easily now that I'm watching more carefully.

When is your half?  Mine is actually 15 weeks away and my training is 12 weeks, so I'm just going to repeat the first few weeks.  Plus one of those weeks we will be on vacation, so I'm not sure how strict I'll stick to the plan while we are away.

  • Thur- 2 mile run

Fri- rest day, but did spend an hour at the park chasing DS and an hour at the beach later

    Sat- nothing

    Sun- 2 1/2 mile run

I think I am at PP weight (don't have a scale, but I was down to it at my 6 week pp check so I assume I am still there), but my body is not necessarily in the same shape it was in. Hoping with my running happening more consistently my legs will get back into the shape I want them.

My half is oct 13, so a little under 13 weeks. I'm also doing a 12 week program, but not officially started until next Monday. I am just making sure to do 3-4 mile runs 3-4 times a week, which is what my first two weeks of the program look like.

  • Thursday I did a three mile run with the jogging stroller.

Friday I went out for a run but only made it a 1/2 mile (total) because we had a downpour. It rained pretty much all weekend, so I have nothing else to share. Sad Add to that my terrible eating today and I am destined for some hard core dieting this week.

    A little late, but

Thursday 2.3 mile jog with Max

Friday went to the gym with DH with all intentions to work out since E was at their daycare, but sat in the hot tub and sauna instead...

Saturday hiking! We drove about an hour and a half south and did a coastal trail hike of about 3.5 miles all four of us.

Sunday worked on abs/core for 30 minutes, took Max on his quick jog (only 1 mile)

I am 4 lbs from my pre pregnancy weight! Once I reach that goal, I would like to lose an additional 8 lbs to be back at my pre wedding weight.
