Charlotte was in a hurry or super fast FTM labor PIP

Just finally got a chance to update on what has been happening with my little girl. She was due on Wednesday, July 11th and was determined to be on time and punctual. I'd been having minor contractions all day Tuesday so decided it would be my last working day and got everything closed up. Got home by 5 and at that point the contractions were starting to come harder and more painful, but I honestly didn't know that's what they were because it was just a cramp in my back. Finally started timing them and had the 5-1-1 thing so had DH call the doc on duty at the hospital and he said to wait another hour timing things... I made it 40 minutes before deciding it was time to go in at 8 pm. DH and I went in and got in there, they checked dilation and it was only at 3 so they said take an hour and then they'd check again. I got into the jaccuzzi sp? for about 1 1/2 hours and then came out, got check again and was at 6 cm. Now, I had wanted an epidural all along, but because they didn't think I'd be ready they hadn't gotten anything ready with it and had to try to rush things. Got an IV finally and the contractions were coming so hard and fast that I was sweating so hard none of the tape would stick and they had to get a wrap to keep it on. The nurse got permission to give me some fentinol because I was in so much pain, and they did and it didn't do anything. The anesthesiologist finally arrived and getting the epidural was horrible, they had to do it twice and in the meantime my water broke and the contractions were getting worse and worse. Finally, after 20 minutes, the epidural took, and I was so much happier. They checked and at that point I was at 8 cm. They let me sleep until 6 am, finally totally dilated, and time to push her out. I don't know how natural birth moms do it, I went most of the way and I about felt like i was going to die. Charlotte Amy was born at 6:52, weighed 7lbs 11 oz (hehe born on 7-11 too) and was 20 inches long and a 9 and a 9 on the apgar. Pic below.
