April 2012 Moms

I spent half the night sleeping on the floor is DS's room.

He slept until 3:45 and then was up crying pretty much after that. I would think I had him back asleep, I would lay down in bed, and he would start crying again. I was so tired of getting up and going to his room I just threw my pillow and a blanket on his rug and slept there, well, when I was able to sleep. He didn't want to be in his crib so I had him cuddle me on the floor. So with cuddles, comfort nursing, teething gel, and a half dose of tylenol he went to sleep. DH woke up and saw my pillow was gone and I wasn't anywhere in the house, he then opened up DS's bedroom door and found us both on the floor. Haha my back is a little sore, but I was able to get some sleep then so it was worth it!

  • For the last few months of my pregnancy, I slept on DS's floor. Same thing when I was pregnant with my DS2. I have no idea what it is, I just couldn't get comfy in my own bed. Now, I think I would wake up paralyzed if I did that.

I'm not sure how you were able to do that! My hips hurt so bad when I was pregnant I had a hard time sleeping on our soft bed, I would have died on his hard floor.
