So I just got my yearly evaluation at work.
We are not allowed to get perfect evaluations. The only thing mine was marked off for was illegible handwriting occasionally. I guess that is pretty good. If only our raises were performance based.

It sucks that they even evaluate your handwriting though. That would make me really sad. I'm left handed and really struggle with not having cute bubbly handwriting like everyone else seems to. I don't think it's a fair thing to judge people on. You can try as hard as possible and maybe that's just the best you can do. It doesn't mean you're not smart or not a good employee... Ok, maybe Im a bit too sensitive about it.
Congratulations! It does suck that your raise won't reflect your evaluation.
I am guilty of somewhat judging handwriting, I mean I don't really judge the person by their writing, just the writing itself!
I spent several years teaching Pre-K kids so my writing had to be pretty "by the book" as I was teaching them their letters, then I went to college for Interior Design and had to take classes on Architectual Lettering. I guess I may not really judge but I do notice!
