Two Under 2

PG with #2

Hi ladies.

My DD is 9 months old and I just found out that I'm pg with #2, so I'll have 2 under 2.  :)  I was wondering when you started to show with your 2nd baby.  I exercised a lot to try to lose my baby weight, but never got my stomach toned like it was, so now that I'm pg again, I feel like I'm really bloated already.  When did you start to truly show with #2 or more?  Thanks!

Re: PG with #2

  • Right away really!  I would say by 12 weeks I had a noticable (non-bloat) bump.  I really popped around 18 weeks and stayed "large and in charge" all the way until the end.  I also measured about 5 weeks ahead (fundal height) at the end.

    Congrats and Good luck!

  • Thanks!  Honestly I felt like my stomach still looked like I was pregnant until about a month ago when it finally started to go down and now here I go again!  I was even thinking when I was running the other day, "I should just get pregnant so I don't have to kill myself with these workouts anymore."

  • I was only back at the gym for like a month before getting PG with #2 and I didn't really "show" til around 20 weeks, if not a little later depending on what I wore. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

  • Congrats!

I was in maternity pants at 6-8 weeks with #2.  It was overly obvious to the world maybe 14ish weeks.

This!  My hormones took over right away and actually at a play group when I was only 7 weeks along people started noticing my bump. (I've very thin and workout frequently.)  I ended up announcing much earlier than planned just because it was obvious (and I was excited).  FWIW- Now that I've popped I am actually measuring smaller than I did with my son and have gained less weight.
