February 2012 Moms

Anyone here pregnant yet?

I XP this in March 2012 because I frequent both (DS was born March 1)

I am definitely not pregnant and hope to not be until Liam is around a year old.  However, I do look forward to doing it again.  I have had pretty easy pregnancies and feel really beautiful pregnant (probably because it gives me an excuse for having a chubby tummy..lol)

  • Not for a few years. 14,000 in daycare expense per year is definitely a deterrent.

Maybe I am just sensitive but considering you've had issues with infertility (as have I), I would think we would be hesitant to shout from the rooftops if we were pregnant again. I think it's too early for anyone to come out right now and definitely not surprised that no one has yet.

Well, I definitely wouldn't be telling people IRL, but I'd probably share here before the stick was dry. But nope, not pregnant yet.

this!! I am one of those hard to keep a secret ladies, I mean we told everyone the day BFP appeared last time. I would be telling you ladies asap, because you would understand both the excitment and the fear of 2u2.

we are anxiously awaiting someone to announce on our board, but noone has yet.

I've had two miscarriages, one after we told the world of facebook (I was 12 weeks when I posted and miscarried at 13).  I would definitely come on here and tell you all, but wouldn't tell many people IRL until I was comfortably in second trimester.

But, I still have to convince DH he wants another Stick out tongue

    Edited for mistakes.

I just had an OB appointment and I secretly wished they would call me after to tell me I got a BFP from my cup-o-pee...Nosuchluck. I'm still EBF and going strong. No AF. We're going to stop "pull and pray" next month and just see if it happens without AF. Probably not, but the way I see it it's nature's way of telling me to wait and I'm ok with that. I won't sacrifice BFing Colton for the sake of getting pg 6 months sooner. Big Smile IF I do, get pg I will continue BFing and you all will be the first and ONLY ones I tell.

    My Colton...Growing up so fast!

Could we hold hands and jump off together?!  DH has his second "sperm check" (as I call them) on the 20th and then we are good to go forever!  WOOHOO!!

This for us too. Daycare is the only thing holding is back.

I understand that,  I'm definitely in the minority though in that I was open about my pregnancies from early on.

  • I'm not but I took a home test yesterday. Not having AF yet made me nervous because I felt sick to my stomach, threw up, and couldn't stand the smell of bbq 2 days ago which were pretty close to my early signs last time. I was actually disappointed when the test was negative. My husband's reaction was disappointing too he says we would have been fine either way but I feel like it was a big deal. Although I want to wait before having another but 2 years seems so far away now, ha I'll probably kick myself for saying that later!
