After the mobile??

Today is a difficult day! My daughter who is nearly 11 months old is standing up in her crib and taking apart her mobile, so it has to go away. Does anybody had recommendations for a music / projector item that can take its place? Something not in the crib itself but rather next to the crib so that it is safe. She loves her mobile and is going to have some withdrawals, I can already tell.

I have a mobile attached to the ceiling that's high enough he'll never be able to reach it. I used this one with clips and attach different things to it as I please.

It's amazing you were able to use a mobile this long. The recommendation is to remove them around 5 months b/c most babies start pulling on them by then. DS2's went bye-bye at 6.5 months. To answer your question, go with a crib soother. There are several nice ones on the market; my fave is the Fisher-Price Rainforest. DS1 used his loyally until he was 4.
