  I found this book helpful for positive discpline, but it wasn't what I would consider an AP book (namely regarding sleep). It is still worth reading, but I thought I would throw that out there.

  I love the Talk-Listen book that PP mentioned. 

  Love and Logic is another good one, though it uses time out which may or may not be something you're ok with. I choose not to use it at this age but I still got some good language from Love and Logic.
