Netflix streaming through my Wii. . .

I assume it's an online streaming charge for that, huh?

Mostly I just wanted to say "Netflix streaming through my Wii."

I assume y'all will suggest Dr. Who and Torchwood.  BSG.  Anything else?

Re: Netflix streaming through my Wii. . .

  • like 9 bucks a month?  its hit and miss.  I watched some dumb *** there while on matenrity leave...switched at birth, army wives.  This might be my FFFC, actually.  In any event, I also watched all the seasons of family ties and relived my childhood  a bit. :-)
  • Loading the player...
  • Being Human uk version. It is really good.
  • Sherlock?

Do you have Hulu Plus? If so, check out Once Upon a Time.

Yes the charge is from netflix.  Sorry not sure that was clear in my reply.

  • We have RIDICULOUS cable, so we're trying to decide whether to stream or not. . . but it seems so so so so SO easy.

    SO easy.

We tried the UK Being Human and actually landed on the US.  Maybe we'll try it now.  Sherlock. Yes.  Check.  My list just keeps getting longer and longer and longer and longer.

Mostly we're picking it up for Arrested Development's new season.

  • I caught H watching The Cutting Edge yesterday. I married a pvssy.

  • UK Being Human > US Being Human. I say this based on spec because I refused to even watch one episode, but I loathe the fact that they remade it!

We have netflix streaming and dvds. If it weren't for netflix on our Wii, Z might have noticed that Nick Jr. is gone.

  • I tried watching Dr. Who, and I couldn't make it all the way through the 1st episode.
    What whackjob wrote that stuff?

I'm now watching Drop Dead Diva and DogTown.
    And the occasional dirty movie.

I tried Dr Who too. I just could not get into it. I have never really watched alot of uk stuff until I heard about it here. I do really like Downtown Abby too. Oh, and I have also started The Cut not sure about it yet seems pretty cool though.

They're very different shows.  I think the reason we picked up on the US version is because when DD was a colicy baby, we could actually watch it and follow it with huge interruptions.

That wasn't possible with the UK version because of accents and the recording levels.  Then we were a season deep in the US version when we tried to watch it again and it didn't quite work.  From what I know about the story lines, it sounds like a much much better version, though I like the guy who plays the werewolf in the US version.

This gives us food for thought. . . thanks all!

  • We got rid of DirecTV awhile back and have a Roku box, so we use Netflix streaming a lot. We never watched Brothers and Sisters when it was on, so we have been working our way through that. I also have been watching some older shows that they have added -- The Wonder Years, etc.
