This will be our 3rd and final baby and I'll be having a tubal during my c-section. Just wondering how this recovery compared to your previous births, if you had any. Thanks!

Re: Did anyone have a tubal ligation after their c-section?
I'm having this done end of September when Baby #4 is born. I have no idea about recovery. My friends who have done it at the same time have had a ROUGHER recovery. Some ladies on here have seen no difference. I want the latter.
GL!

I had a tubal with my 2nd this past fall (first was a c-section too, 5 years ago) and I don't think it impacted recovery at all. The 2nd c-section was, however, much easier than the first...I chalk it up to being planned rather than after 36-hour failed induction like my first was!
Now that's its been 10 months, I still think its crazy I don't have to worry about birth control!
I had a tubal after my c/s. This was baby #3. #1&2 were vaginal deliveries. This 3rd one was a c/s because DD was breech. I had more pain from where my tubal was than I did from my c/s incision because of that it took a little longer to get my pain management under control. My OB said the tubal shouldn't cause pain, but when I pointed to where pain was the nurse said that yes it can cause pain. They see it quite often. GL, hope your c/s goes well and congrats on you LO.

I had my 3rd c/s and a tubal 3 weeks ago today. My previous 2 were easy and this was one was even easier. I've been home all week with all 3 kids and things are fine. I've been off pain meds since the day after I came home and have been pretty good.
