Avery is coming home on Friday the 13th!

Ummmm.... I will be looking for superstitious signs all day! She was born on 3/15/12 at 29 w 6 d with severe growth restriction at 1 lb 10 oz. We also found a possible tethered cord, grade 1 brain bleed, and a heart defect that she will need open heart surgery for around 6-9 mos. She is now 5 lb 3 oz and taking all her bottles and off of oxygen. She will go home on meds and some serious calorie boosters. But OMG she is finally coming home! I don't post here much but lurk and stalk for answers, entertainment and inspirations. God forbid I actually get to Bump at home and learn how to post a pic after all this time. She sooo doesn't look likt the blurry mess down below. We will have spent 122 days in the NICU. Avery's been the oldest baby there for a while because her heart makes her grow alot slower than she should. I am rambling lol. So, to abbreviate........... my baby.... home after 122 days.... on Friday the 13th!?!

    Congrats! My LO came home on Friday the 13th too-its an easy one to remember for Homecoming Day celebrations in the future!

    No facebook for this chica until she is 16 lol. We named her Avery because it was so uncommon at the time. Now we are hearing her name everywhere lol. Oh well, I still love it. Miss Avery Elizabeth is unique enough for me =0).

    Yay!! Wow, you have had a long haul! I thought 56 days was long...my heart goes out to you! Enjoy every minute!
