My four month old has not napped in DAYS

10-20 mins in the car on the way somewhere, tops. I am about to lose my mind. I literally tried for 4 hours today, while my older DD napped and then watched Sesame Street. DD2 is so tired, I nursed her, rocked her, and attempted to put her in the crib twice. Woke up instantly crying, fell asleep instantly when I sat back down with her. Repeated. No. So I tried the car seat (three times), which usually works. No.

Not only that, but she gets mad if I put her down for more than a few minutes. Other than that, she is really chill and easygoing. 

Sigh.

    Once she wakes in the morning, keep an eye on the clock. After about 80-90 minutes (and after feeding her), swaddle her and put her in her crib awake. Use of a fan or sound machine is helpful, also a music or something to attach to the crib (I use a fisher price aquarium that has sound and movement).

    I actually may try that...we have a fan going because it's hot, and I will put her in with her seahorse and see what happens. I'm hoping this is just 4-month wakeful. But so emotionally exhausting.

    Definitely hard. I remember. Sometimes they just get over stimulated and over tired (which after 4 days of no naps, I am certain she is overtired). Basically just try putting her down sooner, and I remember swaddling was our savior.

    Swing? Bouncer?

    My saving grace with DS#1 was playing ocean sounds very loudly on my iPhone by his ear
