Despite the many efforts of ladies on this board, people still seem to get these two confused all the time.  Maybe we need to stop using the acronyms?  I'm not sure why opinions and confessions are so confusing and so many people seem to think they're interchangeable.  And I still think some people know the difference but choose to post their unpopular opinions on Fridays because they think it will save them from being flamed for it.  Ugh, sorry, this is becoming a major pet peeve of mine, and I'm not sure why it bothers me so much.

    It bugs me too.  It is pretty easy to reword a bit to make it sound more UOish or Confessiony.

    They do seem to be treated as interchangeable.

    Oh thank God this is apparently common.  I started UOT and FFFC on another board and people confess on the UOT thread all the time.  (Of course, it could be because during the week I was in the OBX, someone tried to continue my success with "Thursday Confessions - Judge Free."
