For the past few days it seems like DD has been snack eating. But then when DH feeds her she'll eat the full bottle. He says I'm not feeding her right & shouldn't let her eat only an ounce or two. It's not like I can force her to eat!
Our little guy has been like this this week. It's fine. She'll get what she needs throughout the day. I'm sure she'll be back to full bottles all the time soon...just a phase or the weather. Our pedi said they can be like us sometimes and not want to eat a lot at once when it is hot out.
My public health nurse told me eating from a bottle is very different than the breast. They can control the flow better from you than a bottle nipple because they have to work harder at the breast. So basically if you eat really fast it takes longer for your brain to realize you are full...same idea. So she would take more from a bottle with its faster flow than she would from you.
Re: DH acts like I have control over how DD eats
I apologize; I misunderstood your post! I think my baby brain has gotten worse since I HAD the baby :P
