Pregnancy signs?

Hello, I am fairly new to The Bump. I just got familiar with FF and am planning on taking my temperatures. However I have really weird symptoms. I should start with little background. We just got married 6/16/12 and wanted a baby right away. I was on BC Pills for a long time and switched to Nouvaring. During our Honeymoon I took my ring out after 4 days got my AF. Since taking the ring out we were very actively trying almost every other day. I have been taking one or two tests and they were negative, but I'm sure it was too early. I think my AF should be coming in next four days. After our Honeymoon I had weird dizziness when waking up but it stopped. Since 4 or 5 days I have been experiencing lower abdominal pain. It feels a little like a muscle ache, not like menstrual cramps. I took a test yesterday and it was negative. Today my breasts feel very tender and my nipples almost hurt. I have never had symptoms like that before my AF. They feel very different. Could I be pregnant or since I'm off the ring my body experiences PMS different?

Your symptoms before your period will be different after stopping birth control.

We do not know if you are pregnant or not. Take a test. Keep testing once a week or until you get your period.

Anything is possible, you're not on BC, so you could be pregnant. Unless you're charting, you don't know if you've O'd and if your period is late or not.

BC messes with your hormones. It can take a while for your body to regulate. Additionally PMS symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are the same. Keep testing once a week if after 60 days you've still not had AF or a BFP call your Dr.

If you had unprotected sex during your fertile window, then yes, you could be pregnant. Whether or not you are or not is something we cannot tell you.

But typically negative test means you're not pregnant. The symptoms you're experiencing could be related to anything. Also, PMS and early pregnancy tend to have the same symptoms (tender breasts, lower abdominal pain etc) so until you get a positive pregnancy test or your period, it's impossible to know which yours are related to.

1) what you are describing sounds like PMS. You might get your period soon.

2) symptoms are different after birth control.

3) test once a week, 7 days after you are late- until you get to cycle day 60 or a (+) HPT.

I don't understand why people think we can tell them if they are pregnant?

Unrelated, but it drives me nuts when people can't spell the medication they are taking. It's Nuvaring. My biggest pet peeve is "Chlomid".

During 1st few months of TTC, you might experience phantom symptoms, which happens to us from time to time. They say if you have real pregnancy symptoms, your HPT would be positive. Please note there's 20% chance of conceiving each month. Once you start taking temps, you will know for sure IF and WHEN you're ovulating, the 'Newbie' link at top of this board might be helpful too, good luck.
