Raleigh Photographer Recommendations
My husband, daughter, and I recently moved to the Raleigh area. Being as my daughter is only 1 and we have another on the way, we are in need of a good, but reasonably priced photographer.
We were spoiled in FL with our photographer who provided on-site sessions, all edited hi-res digital images, and rights for $175. I'm the type of person who thinks it's excessive to pay over $350 total for digital images and sitting fees, especially when you're capturing your child's precious moments while they are a newborn, 3mo, 6mo, 9mo, 12 mo, 18 mo, and 24 mo.

I'm not active on this board, but I have to recommend our photographer, Sarah Fitzgibbons. I think I got her recommendation from this board!

She is very reasonable & includes a CD with all the edited images in color & b&w. We've done sessions at home, at the arboretum and other places around the city. We've used her for Maternity, newborn, 6 month & 1 year sessions and plan on even more in the future! She is extremely patient and great with my daughter!
If you use her, tell her that Allie recommended her. I can't say enough great things about her!
I also use Ever You Photography. I think Deidra does a great job of capturing our kids.

We used Jeffrey Minnish at Little White Dress Visuals for our wedding and loved him and his wife (both photographers). We are using them for our maternity and newborn pics. I think their siting fee is $100 and you can purchase prints or it's an extra $300 for the rights to all images. They do give a discount if you are planning on using them for the first year. We also used Ever You for our newborn photos and we were very pleased with the photos and how wonderful Deidra was to work with. We have had so many compliments on them and it's not just because our baby is so cute

You should check out Blessed Reflections Photography. I've had photos taken by her before and her child/family photos are just stunning. Her name is Kira and she's super sweet!

I agree with this recommendation (we will be using her for 2 year pics and she is my dream newborn photographer when we get pregnant again!) but her pricing is not within the OP budget. I was also spoiled with a photographer that charged $200 per session and CD for Dylan's 1st year baby plan and she has since gone out of business. As a professional photographer myself, I am now educated on the costs of running a legitimate business and I have no idea how other photographers are charging so little. Definitely do your research before you choose someone!
