Hi ladies,
I was just wondering how many of you have 3 children under 2 years old? We have 8 month old twin girls and lately I have been having dreams about being pregnant and for some reason am getting paranoid that I might be. I was just wondering how you do it. Did any of you have C-sections the first time around? My Dr said that I should wait a year before getting pregnant again after the c-section. I could be totally wrong but for some reason my 6th sense is saying it's possible. I just can't imagine being pregnant with twins crawling around the house. I was so drained the first time I could barely function WITHOUT taking care of kids. Not sure if I could do it. Thanks for all the advice.

Re: 3 under 2 ???
I have 3 under two, but DD is the oldest (22 months) and I have 2 month old twin boys. I delivered vaginally with DD, and had a C with the boys. It is possible to do it, but it's really tiring - while pregnant, I napped when she did and Dh helped out a lot.
I do feel like I don't get to spend any time with DD now, but once the boys are more on a schedule, I hope that will change.
Good luck!

I am 33 weeks pregnant with twin girls and DD is 18 mos. old. It is a lot tougher being pregnant when you have young children - there is just no break for the Mommy no matter how tired/sick you may be feeling. But like anything else you get through it. Now at the end when it is really hard to get around, DH and my parents have been helping a lot, which is great. BUt before that I was keeping up with things relatively well. At least you won't be pregnant with twins this time around!!
Like pp, i just worry about being able to spend enough time with DD when twins come.
I'm going to have number 3 next Thursday and I currently have 19 month old twins. This pregnancy was a BREEZE compared to theirs. I was sick 5-6 times a day for 20 weeks when I was pregnant for them...I think I through up twice with this one (Well, morning sick related anyway).
I did have a section with the twins- and I found out 3 weeks before their first birthday that I was pregnant with this one. My Dr wasn't concerned.... said I could try for a vbac if I wanted to but b/c I didn't progress with the twins and needed pitocin if that happened again this time I would need another section anyway so we just scheduled the section. I'm nervous and excited at the same time but I'll be sure to post and keep everyone updated.
Good luck and let us know how things turn out!
i will have 3 under 2.5.... DS will be about 2.5 when the twins are born.
why don't you POAS?
no sense in worrying about it unless you really are pg.
I have 23 month old twins and am expecting twins again in a few weeks. Honestly, it has been really tiring but much better then I expected. I've really started to slow down big time in the last few weeks but up until then I was still taking the boys out everyday (playdates, foodshopping, etc) and doing everything myself. The last few weeks we've pretty much just been staying home, I order my groceries online and am not so crazy anbout keeping the house perfectly clean. It is definitely doable, just MUCH harder then the 1st pregnancy before having children. Good Luck, did you POAS yet?
My twins will be 20 months when the new baby arrives in May. We found out we were expecting the day before the turned 1 (surprise!). They were emergency c-section and I think we are going with another c-section for #3. Like pp said, it is tiring being pregnant when you have toddlers running around. I worked when I was pg with the twins, now I am a SAHM but some days it's just so much harder. I can't call in sick or leave early if I don't feel well. I miss my pregannt naps and sleeping in!!!

I haven't POAS yet. It is a little early still. Thanks for all of the advice though ladies. I am still waffling back and forth about wether or not we want more kids other than the twins. I would be totally happy if it just kind of happened but right now the girls are still so young and I am totally scared of having 1 year old twins and another on the way.
Thanks for everything ladies! You are the strongest women I know
My daughter was 22 months old when my sons were born. Honestly, it was just not bad at all. It took some getting used to, but now things run quite smoothly. It's a little crazy but I wouldn't change it.
