Confrontation - My First Clicky Poll

I find myself getting into many more confrontations.  The dog in the car lady, the neighbor, and the chick who stole my parking spot at Target.

Before, I always thought I should say something, but never wanted to get involved.  Now I must tell them!  If I don't, who will, and then, the douche-ness will perpetuate.

Re: Confrontation - My First Clicky Poll

  • For me it depends on the situation and/or person. Most stuff I'll just let roll off my back. However, parenting advice, especially from a specific aunt, really sets me off.

  • My mom and I took the boys swimming last wknd in a public pool. We were in the 4 ft section carrying the boys when a boy maybe 12 jumped in cannonball style right next to my mom. The water splashed up and hit one of the boys in the face and he started crying. We were just going to leave but I had to tell off this kid. I spun him sound and told him that he just made my baby cry by splashing water in his face. "I didn't see him". Well you need to watch where you are jumping as other people are also in peoples pool. Grrr.i felt better after that and the kids he was with all laughed at him getting yelled at.

  • I voted I was that way before, but more things set me off now.  I just hold off saying something at times because of the baby so it evens out.  The big one is tailgating.  I hate being tailgated!  I used to slam on the breaks quickly if someone was to close to me.  Now I'm scared to do that, but sometimes I'll slow way down and won't let them pass if I can do so safely.
