My smile for today is that we got our first home milk delivery. I have been searching for a milkman in my area for a year, and last week, my local newspaper ran a feature on a farm a state over who now delivers to my town.
DS has been so chatty lately. I obviously have no idea what he's saying, but he is just so serious and earnest while he's talking. It cracks me up! He has also been extra smiley and giggly and just wants to play with me or DH. I love this stage!

Today we went to a park about 40 mins from us that we had never been to.... it has a huge playground, a kiddie train, and a merry-go-round. We took LO on the merry-go-round twice: once with mommy riding on the horse with him, and once with daddy standing next to him holding him on the horse! We also went on the outdoor kiddie train and LO sat on my lap and started bouncing and making cooing noises and people in our car were awing him.
Someone I don't talk to that often posted on my FB that seeing pictures of Andrew makes her day. I know I'm crazy about him but I like hearing about other people who enjoy him.

We just started dairy delivery last month from a local farm. I love it.

That's pretty cool... if you don't mind me asking, how much do you pay per gallon? Is there an extra charge for delivery?

It comes in 1/2 gallons but $6 per gallon if you do the math. I was paying close to that (sometimes more) for organic milk at the grocery store. There is a delivery fee, but since we are also getting our eggs and some other dairy products through the service it works out okay price wise for my grocery budget. I know there are a lot of MD moms on this board, the farm I am ordering from is in MD so if anyone is interested I would be happy to forward on the info.

Ours is just under $3 per 1/2 gallon or $4.50 for organic. As long as you order $10 worth of products the delivery fee is waived.
LO is the only thing that has made me smile today, really! She sat here and laughed and jabbered and screamed her way through dinner and made me smile so much my face hurt. It was great!

I made a little scrapbook of my pregnancy and DS for my grandma, who is crazy about him. I gave it to her for her 50th wedding anniversary. She called me today to tell me that she took the scrapbook to the people at the hair salon and they all thought he was the most adorable baby they've seen.
