Did it, loved it. Really reasonable as far as distance increases go. I've used his marathon training plan for myself, too, and for a number of my training clients.
Used it for all three of my half marathons, and loved it. I thought it was a good plan for half Mary beginners. I will be using it again for my half in October. My one bit of advice, have your longest distance run before the race be 11-12 miles. The first half we topped off at 10 miles as the plan says. I don't care what Hal says. When your hips and hamstrings are super tight in mile 11, race adrenaline doesn't do much. Those last 3 miles were the worst and most painful thing ever. For the second half marathon we topped off at 12 miles, and it was smooth sailing and I felt great at the end of the race.

Ok thanks. I have 15 weeks until the race, so I plan to repeat some weeks. I can add a longer run in there. I ran a half and a full marathon 8 years ago, so it's been awhile. But I've been running. 3-4 miles several times a week for awhile now.
Also used it and loved it for my first half marathon. I modified it a bit for my schedule because I thought I was going to have 17 weeks to train, and ended up doing an earlier one so only trained for 14. I talked about it on my blog here. Good luck!
