Just want to recommend corn starch to you guys that are in hot climates! Its great for heat rash and diapers and even bathing. Here in guatemala you can't find any good baby shampoos, just J & J and crappy chemically other brands. My midwife recommended just adding corn starch to the bath and it works great. No rashes or cradle crap! Its better than baby powder because its more natural.
Re: anyone else use corn starch?
This. If the diaper rash turns out to be a yeast diaper rash, the yeast just feeds on the cornstarch making the rash worse.
