I think I need a few shots

LO was having a meltdown earlier. The worst one yet. He was fighing sleep so so bad. Well DH tells me that one of his friends is coming over to borrow his truck for a few hours. Great, we just loan our vehicles to anyone huh? Well they come over and I'm in the nursery with the door CLOSED and they come in. First off, I'm trying to get my screaming baby to calm down. Secondly, I don't need your parenting advice. I'm been super bitchy all afternoon. I came home and had to cook dinner while my child screamed the whole time. DH was off getting a haircut. It's either burn the house down or let him cry. I'm officially over this day.

    I hope your night got better. I had a day like this on Monday. It ended with me breaking down in tears after trying unsuccessfully to get her to nap for 4 hours. I had my father screaming at me that , "She's not tired"! She refused to sleep, play, sit. She was just in a mood where she didn't want to do anything and cried the entire afternoon. I wanted to put my head through a wall by the time my husband got home. It got better though. Just remember it is one day and tomorrow can be a brand new start.

    I'm sorry. I was at that place last week. I thought I was gonna go nuts. It will get better.

    I definitely know those days. They are horrible and very tiring! I hope your night is better! And have you a drink if you want one! Sometimes we just deserve it!! ;)
    I give up on trying to make a ticker.... this new bump format is for the birds...

    Thanks ladies! At least today is Friday! I also cut my left thumb yesterday cutting some veggies. It even cut a little of my nail. It hurts!

    Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuude....you can't just walk into the nursery? That's literally rule 2 in the "friends with babies" rule book..and its only second to ringing the doorbell.

    I hate when everything seems to fall apart as soon as help disappears. Go take your breather. Your DS will be fine...who knows, maybe he'll get into zen mode and calm down.
