I had my first appointment today, at 13 weeks and 5 days. Unfortunately, my uterus is tipped far toward my back, so my midwife wasn't able to pick up a heartbeat. She said I should come back next week and they'll try again. Surprisingly, I'm not bothered by this at all. Oh how much more relaxed I am with my 3rd pregnancy than I was with my 1st, LOL!

This happened to me also. The 1st time I was so scared, this time not so much. I eventually knew I would hear it!
