Anyone else literally strip down after walking into their house?I have been living in the desert and the temp is 120 plus 90% humidity. I got so used to walking in the door and taking all of my clothes off. We are now on vacation and its only about 90 outside, but as soon as we are in our hotel room my clothes come off. I didn't really think much of it, or realize that I have been doing it until my DH said something to me about it today. "uh are you going to be naked all the time around our kids growing up?" I got defensive and snapped at him. Now I am wondering if i am alone or not with this habbit. I really think when it's not too hot and I am not pregnant I won't be like this any more.
Re: TMI ish - wonder if anyone else does this
I have been pretty flippin' hot and the first thing I want to do is get my currently sweaty clothes off.
Where do you live? Your maternity shot is so cool!
Isn't that how you got in this "situation" in the first place?
I thought deserts were known for being very low humidity areas.
Anyway, I live in GA where the temps and humidity are usually high in the summer. We've finally gotten a break yesterday and today, but I'm accustomed now to stripping down and spending part of the day nude, so I still do.

normally, i throw on a nursing sports bra and a pair of loose yoga pants. but since i got this sunburn, i haven't been wanting to put anything on my shoulders. so i'm sticking to this long, floral sundress that is strapless and doesn't touch my burn.
i'm going on day six of wearing this dress, washing it every night before i go to bed, and then putting it on the second i wake up. i feel weird, but it doesn't hurt, so i'm good with it.
DH and I both walk around naked or in our undies/tshirt most of the time. DS is 2 now and is used to it and don't think it is weird. Will we still do it when he is 5 or 10? No clue. We try not to make blanket statements that far ahead because we don't know how we'll feel or how he'll react.
We have friends who are never naked around their kids and friends who are basically nudists at home with kids. It doesn't have to be a problem. We want our kids to be comfortable with their bodies and with bodies in general, and we believe that nudity is no big deal. Even if we aren't walking around 24/7 naked, I can't imagine we'll ever really get freaked out about our kids seeing us naked briefly.
I could've written this, lol! As I'm typing this, I just finished working out outside and came in and stripped down to sit under the ceiling fan.
Dh has come home on different occasions and found me cleaning or putting baby stuff together completely in the nude, he just starts laughing. I am usually so cold natured I sleep in sweat pants year round, but this summer I am just not comfortable in clothes!

This. It is called a desert because of the lack of water. Sorry to be snarky, but the humidity here has been unbelievable for the last few weeks. I do not strip down when I get home, but I do change into shorts and a tank when I get home from work. My neighbors would not be happy if I walked around naked.

I just turn the air to "antartica"!
By the way even though my OU was that I think Maternity Photos are cheesy I LOVE YOURS!
I wish my boobs didnt touch my stomach but the 46F's are going no where but down right now!
This, exactly, with the 34G boobs and the stomach... But I bought some fantastic Gilligan & OMalley maternitiy undies at Target, so I run around in those and a tank with a built-in bra (not much support, but it keeps them away from my belly button).
Yeah, I can't stand to be in my clothes esp. after I have been all sweaty. But, I guess I should change, into something else instead of going naked.
We live in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Thanks for the nice comments about my pics! It wasn't fun hiking sand dunes while prego, but well worth the shots we got.
Yeah, I thought so too until I moved here. There is no such thing as dry heat here. It is the hottest place on earth and the humidity is terrible. If you wear glasses outside the litterally fog over. The buidings sweat. Sometimes the humidity gets up to 99%.
Glad that I am not the only semi-nudist around LOL.
Here is the currrent weather for those questioning about the humidity:

OMG!!! OMG!!! I am in TN and the temperature here has been AWFUL....This week we've had a lot of rain so it has not been that bad, BUT last week and the week before the temperatures were no less than 100 degrees. When I tell you I have had issues with putting clothes on.....It has gotten SOOOO bad, I've thought about calling into work so I didn't have to put anything on. It actually happened today. I took my dog out for a walk and it sweated like I had just finished a marathon. When I got back in I showered and I laid out. I couldn't do anything else and I certainly didn;t want clothes on. It just takes so long for me to cool off now. Even if I have the A/C and a fan on....My friends, BF, and mother laugh at me all the time. They know wearing clothes is probably my biggest gripe right now!
