Sick Care / Care-on-call

Can anyone recommend a sick care/care-on-call option for when our LO is too ill to take to his daycare and we can't afford to take the day off work? I'm having a difficult time finding options in the metro Phoenix/Scottsdale area.
(And, yes, I've tried Care.com but it looks like most people on there are trying to find permanent nanny positions.) Other suggestions would be appreciated.
