We have a few of those office style folding tables that we use for all sorts of things. Their #1 purpose has always been for DH to bring out for his friends to use for their computers when they visit and they all play computer games a few times a year. (yes, I am kind of married to a high school boy, ha!)
We left the tables outside after Lexi's birthday party and the tops got wet, so the contact paper on top of them is all damaged and peeling off. (It's that "wood" styled top, but obviously just paper, not even plastic or anything). I told him I could probably recover them somehow for him. Pinterest wasn't much help, and I only found one site googling, and they mod podged it with wrapping paper.
WWYD? I was thinking new contact paper cut to fit, but would wrapping paper/mod podge work better? It needs to be pretty smooth on top so the guys can use a mouse for gaming. (But I guess they could always use mouse pads)

We had to cut ours own to fit (aka corner issues). It comes in a large roll (different colors) at our homedepot. It wasnt the easiest thing to work with but cut it big and trim it at home

that's awesome! We do have a table like that and now I totally want to make it cute
The ones I need to fix though are like this - its particle board with contact paper over it.
Oh I like that...very cute
