Pregnancy Brain. Ugh!

Today, I tried to wash my hair with body wash.  Then I started to clean DD's bath and accidentally threw her wash cloths in the trash.  What's wrong with me??

 Anyone else do silly things since you've become pregnant?

    Left the gas cap on the trunk of my car after I was finished filling up and it rolled away not long after I drove off - first time I've ever done that in almost 10 years of driving!  Fortunately it was a cheap fix.

    The other night I forgot something at the house. Turned around, got there, couldn't remember what... Remembered 1/2way to the store, went back. Repeat... THREE trips back, I finally remembered to get what I was actually needing (my wallet)! Agh..

    this made me laugh.... awe!  I totally understand.... poor thing.

    I keep looking all over the house for things only to find it sitting RIGHT there. I mean RIGHT where I was when I began looking for it!! LOL

    I am driving DH crazy anytime we leave to go somewhere...I have always been a little scatterbrained but lately it's been amplified a ton! He'll be standing by the door ready to go and I'll say "ok I'm ready!...Wait I forgot my wallet...wait I have to pee...wait I don't have shoes on..."

    I tried to go somewhere without shoes the other day... Got half-way down my street (yes, I was driving... but it's not unusual for me to drive without shoes so it didn't seem weird) when I realized. :)

    My mother and DH told me pregnancy brain isn't real and I just made the term up. They got all sorts of side eye from me (and I think I called them jackasses - blame that on the pregnancy too!). It is real! I forget EVERYTHING now!
