We are planning to take all three kids camping (for one night) this weekend!

We have an annual long-weekend trip with friends in Lake Superior in August, so this is our trial run.

Pumpkin--not even close to sleeping through the night. But, he's an awesome traveler and will be fine. We are doing disposable diapers, and honestly, if there were disposable bottles, I'd probably do that, too. We have the Eddie Bauer travel bed for him to sleep in, and will bring the PNP, too.

Carrot--She's never been and is so excited! "Guess what's in our backyard? our TENT!" She will have a great time.

Zucchini--Hmmm. Has gone camping with a previous foster family and says she loved it. When her anxiety is higher, she tends to react to bugs more. Biomom told her "she shouldn't go--since she was afraid of bees." So, thanks for that. (Because there aren't bees in the city???) She wants to go camping with us in Aug, but we have said if she can't handle this weekend, it won't be safe or fair to her siblings to go in Aug.

One night, you can totally make this!

We went camping with my sis and bil and 14 month twin nephews a few years ago. All the neighboring sites let us know in the morning that the babies had great sets of lungs. Oops.the But we have good memories! The trial sounds like a great idea, and planning ahead and catching triggers early is half the battle. Good luck and enjoy!
