last night at dinner

We went out to eat and there were a few kids around our table. I thought this was great because my kid hadn't had a nap that day and figured he couldn't be the only cranky kid around. Well the one kid at the table across from us was screeching a little and I didn't pay any mind to it because I knew mine would probably chime in later. Well there was a table with elderly ladies drinking behind us and the one lady didn't like the kids being loud so she turned around and screamed shut up already at the kid. The father flipped out and the woman didn't say another word. I just couldn't believe she did that, I thought she was wrong for doing that. Wdyt?

She was a fuckingbitch. If she has a problem with kids, and their normal behaviour, then she should have gone to a dining establishment that caters to adults only, or sat at the bar.

The old lady was out of line. When we went to Disney we met up with DHs aunt and uncle. His uncle yelled at some kid for crying at lunch at a quick service place. I wanted to crawl under the table I was so embarrassed and went over later and apologized to the parents. For those two days we spent with them anytime Abby got cranky I took her far away. From this point on I will never agree to meet up with DH aunt and uncle again and he is in my arsehole book.

If someone said that to my child, I would flip out. Seriously.

Also, I hate the term "Shut up." We never say it in my house; it sounds so ugly to me. Worse than swear words in my book.

I was just thinking this! I hate that term and I vow to NEVER say that to my children. That was my mom's rule too.
