I listen to WHEB (a Portsmouth NH station) mainly in the morning because I love The Morning Buzz (currently listening as well while at work via iHeartRadio, even though it sucks).
They play rock music. Sometimes I'll listen during the day. Though iHeartRadio cuts it out all.the.time. I flucking can't stand iHeartRadio.
Other than that I almost never listen to the radio.

I have XM/Sirius too and my favorite channels, M-F, are Cosmo Radio in the morning (although sometimes Taylor can be a wee bit juvenile), and NPR for the drive home (APM's Marketplace). Sometimes I'll switch over to channel 76 in the mornings when the cosmo kids are being a bit too whiny for me... or CNN (116/115).
When I'm out and about on the weekends, though, I listen to music... channel 33 (First Wave, like 80s alternative?), 34 (Lithium, 90s alternative) and channel 36 (don't know the name, current alternative, think Foster the People and such) tend to be my typical rotation.
And, sometimes, I'll pop over to channels 2 and 3 (current top 20 stuff) to be sure to know what the kids are listening to. ;-)

I really only listen to the radio in the car. The station that is always on is WXRT in Chicago. They most play rock. All sorts of rock. Indie, Punk, Classic, Hard... no metal or anything, but that is fine with me, haha.
I listen to some custom stations on Pandora occaionally. I remember listening to the Coffeshop station on Sirius(or was it XM?).

My radio pretty much stays on Alt Nation (36). If they play a song I'm not interested in I'll flip backwards to XMU or forwards to Octane. Kind of sad I pay all this money per month for really only one station, but eh. :P
Re: GTKY: What's your favorite radio/xm station?
I love 80's on 8, The Highway, and 90's on 9.

I listen mostly to XMU, Altnation and the Catholic Channel - how is that for a messed up combo
The only down side to both of the music channels is the freaking DJ Madison, she makes DH and I want to pull our hair out.
I just cancelled my subscription bc it was way too freaking expensive.
I listened to the Highway, 20 on 20, and the comedy stations
omg, she's awful! I flip the channel when she's chattering about. Plenty of other options, lol.
I listen to Elvis Duran online. They play pop music, but I listen for the morning show, not the music.
