Adoption Prayer Group
Hi everyone, The Adoption Prayer Group is a support group utilizing the power of prayer. If you want to join I will assign you a prayer buddy and all you have to do is simply include that person in your prayers. Very simple-yet powerful!!! The complete listing of partners can be found under Prayer Partners. I usually post on Wednesdays. Feel free to search under Adoption Prayer Group and check in at whatever time of day. This Week?s Events:
Praise: c&dwaiting: A friend of theirs has been matched with a baby girl!
Blds4given: They have started their PRIDE classes! However, there is still no change in their living situation. Please keep their living situation in your prayers.
Zanymermaid: She has gotten a full-time librarian position! She will start her new job on August 1st.
Special Prayer Requests: Please let me know if you have any prayer requests.
c&dwaiting: Please pray for their EM. She is sad because the time of her delivery is getting closer (2 weeks). They consider her to be part of the family.
Katybug_h: They have a best interest placement (BIP) meeting for a possible placement of 3 siblings coming up on July 6th. They also have a court hearing for their foster son on July 5th. The hearing will give her and her DH a chance to give their input concerning Turtle?s future. Please pray that everything goes well.
Zanymermaid: She and her DH are still trying to find an adoption agency to work with. Please pray that she will have patience during this difficult process and be less frustrated.
MarionB79: Please pray for a couple from their adoption class, Sarah and Wait. They got matched with a birth mother about a month ago and then they discovered that the BM changed her mind and decided to parent. They are working through the loss. MarionB79?s brother-in-law has moved in with them. He got finger printed and their caseworker wants to meet them. Please pray that this works out quickly!

Question of the day: What animal resembles your personality? For me, it?s a greyhound. I prefer to relax, sleep, and ?just chill?, but if I have a goal (rabbit) I will run like crazy!

Lots of prayer requests this week! I'll definitely be keeping all of you ladies in my prayers!
I feel like we would all do well to memorize today's reflection - I know I should be writing this on my heart!
QOTD: Zany, I'm totally with you! A greyhound suits my personality really well (and my greyhound totally fits in at my house!!). I also identify with apes, since they seem to be very family-oriented and intelligent.
I like that reflection that is a good one to remember. No real updates here, did get a call last week about a potential match. It was a little outside what we originally said we were comfortable with but when we were being told we were totally at peace with the situation so we decided to stay in the running. We shall see what happens!
QOTD: I am not sure what animal I am. I am very driven and can be impatient but can also just be sloth like when nothing is going on or I need down time. Maybe a bear since I can also be protective of the people around me. Hmmm... That's a good question!
