So yesterday DD was up for about 12 hours (5am-5pm) with little 5 minutes naps all day. Then around 5pm she falls asleep. And since DH was home I went to bed. I just woke up at about 1:30am & found out she'd been asleep the whole time. So what happens? She wakes up! DH didn't have to change a single diaper, feed her or deal with a cranky baby - nothing! So I fed her & now I think she's trying to poop.
I have a feeling she's going to up for a while. I feel like the only time I get a break is when I'm sleeping! And DH acts like it's not a big deal trying to eat or do anything while watching her. Yeah. What did I manage to eat yesterday? A bowl of cereal, a handful of chips & popcorn & a microwavable pasta thing. And the pasta I had to scarf down just to eat! *sigh* Now hopefully I'll get to eat something soon because boy am I hungry!
Oh - she did it again. She dozed off & then woke back up. Little butthead!
Re: Anyone else's LO sleep while someone else is watching him or her?
Yes!!!
It drives me crazy! I always feel like I'm doing something wrong because she doesn't act "like a baby should" wh,2en she's with me. Maybe we're just trying too hard...

Yeah whenever we're at my mom's she tends to sleep. My mom thinks it's because she bores DD. But I think it's because my mom is a lot more calm around babies so DD feels relaxed (most of the time) & falls asleep.
I do find it a bit funny though when MIL is holding her & she's fussing or crying & MIL can't calm her down. Apparently her other 2 grandkids were the same way when they were babies. Makes me wonder how she managed 4 kids!
