Anyone else thinking of TTC again?

I'm NOT ready to TTC yet but DH and I are talking about it. He would like to TTC when DS is 9 months (wants them 18months apart) but I called my OB today and she suggested 2 years between deliveries (c-section) and also said she does not recommend a VBAC because of what happened to DS when he was born.

I'm a little bummed as i'd like to TTC sooner but then again I'd never forgive myself if I went against her advice and something happened.

Anyone else talking about TTC or actually TTC?

We have talked about it. I think we'll start trying once DS is around a year, a year and a half. I want them around 2-3 years apart ideally. However, I'm not going on birth control, and we're only using condoms (even though I EBF, I got my period at 10 weeks pp), so if it happens earlier, we'll be happy with that too.

We were actually JUST talking about it. I am all over the place. I go from wanting to try this month to wanting to wait until she's 2 or so to try.

DH and I talked about it and we agreed next summer we would TTC again. That way they will be about 2 years apart. I don't think I could handle it if they were any closer!

We are doing nothing to prevent now ~ but the chances of us conceiving on our own are somewhere between slim & none. We will do a FET next July.

i am testing daily for ovulation and waiting on my period i ebf so if it doesnt show by six mnths i will stop bfing in hopes it jump starts my period

waiting until next Spring. I'd like a Feb or Mar 2014 baby. However, not really doing anything to prevent in the meantime besides breastfeeding and pull 'n pray (and a hefty dose of being too tired to do anything that would lead to a baby). A surprise would not be unwelcome, just hopefully not anytime super soon!

We definitely talk about it. We would like to wait until DD is a year old. We will see. I know we will know when the time is right. I do think about it a lot! it is crazy.

I definitely think about it alot... DH is on the fence.. when people ask he tells them the doctor told us to wait a year.. which is true.. she originally said 2 years and I frowned and then she said please at least just wait a year because of the CS...

I would like to start trying once DS is one though ideally and that would give us plenty of time to get settled in our new house as well as replenish any type of leave either of us had lol.... Id also prefer to NOT be in my third trimester during the summer/fall.. its just tooo brutal here...

My OB said that I should wait 1.5 years between pregnancies because I had a bad one and that I'll need another c/s because off the reasons why I needed an emergency one that I would most likely have the exact same issues. She thiniks that my pelvis kept lining him up wrong. DH was talking about it since a day after I delivered, I'm guessing we will start trying again somewhere around 2 years from when DS was born.

We're talking about trying next summer. I want closer to 3 years apart, but DH wants 2 years apart. However, it took 8 months for us to get pregnant, so starting next summer should put us somewhere in the 2-3 year range.

We have talked about it more in these terms too. I want to wait about 4 years before we TTC again. That is best for my career and I have never desired children close together. But, this one is so wonderful I could be done after him. Even though I thought I wanted 3-4.....

Sort of this. DH wants to TTC when she is 1. I want to wait until she's 3. So I guess we will meet in the middle & TTC when she's 2ish.

We've agreed that we would like to start when Christian turns 2. I think that's a good space between pregnancies and we can enjoy parenthood with our first born for a few years.

We are planning a FET this December. I realized after getting our insurance statement that we have already reached our deductable and the $2,000 out of pocket max!

We have already decided that we will actively try when Kiernan is between 18mo and 2 years. I would like to finish up college and hopefully be settled in a career before the next one. That being said once we start to dtd again we will probably maybe sometimes use condoms. I doubt that will happen though, we will most likely keep track of ovulation like we were doing before conceiving Kiernan. If we get pregnant before our plan we will not be devastated by any means.

Omg. Nooooooooo! Well we have talked about it, and will ttc next summer, but I hated being pregnant. I think I have flashbacks. Seriously. I would love another baby, but could do without those nine months of feeling like a mad alien took over my body.

That's a big NO from me. DH initially was talking about trying for another one in the near future (noooo!), but has since changed his mind, saying that it makes him sad thinking that DD would not get all the attention and time that she deserves if another baby entered the picture. THANK GOD. haha.

We always said we would have two kids and have them two years apart. Since DS was born my husband's diabetes (type 1) has been out of control. Its mostly due to stress and since having another LO would add additional stress, I am thinking we might only have one.
