Hello! I haven't posted on this board in about 5 months, but I've tried to keep up reading from time to time. DD is 1 month, and not really sleeping at night for any long stretches of time. Just wanted to see how everyone else was doing, realizing that some responses will make me very envious Stick out tongue

Most nights we will get a stretch of about 4 or 5 hrs, then from there it is usually every 3 hrs she is up. I think she has the cold I have now because she will only sleep if she is held and is super fussy! Last night she was up every 1.5 hrs!

Yep - little one is 3 weeks now, and some nights she is an awesome sleeper. But before I let myself get too smug about it, she has a night like last night where I'm sure we were awake more than we were asleep. I'm sure it will even out sometime in the not-too-distant-future? (wonders the new mom with no certainty at all)

This exactly.

Unfortunately, that long stretch is when we're still awake. She usually crashes around 7 or 8 and wakes right as we're going to bed. Lately we've been waking her up right before we go to sleep so we don't have to worry about her crying right as we're getting comfy in bed.
