anyone know if it's possible or likely that a baby would be allergic to rice cereal? my daughter has gotten a rash on her face the last two nights after dinner. I changed up the veggies she was eating to see if that made a difference. the only constant was the rice. i've given her rice before and never really noticed this. anyone know anything about this? she's had little bumps on her cheeks before, and i know teething can cause a rash, so i'm not 100% convinced it is the rice, but i'd hate to keep giving it to her to find out.

Just stop giving the rice for now if you suspect an allergy or sensativity. It's nutritional value is greatly overstated anyway. You can always introduce it again later on when she is a little more mature. Sometimes sensativities or allergies go away on their own. I would not worry about it too much.
DD has a sensativity (could be allergy) to rice so -- yes it is entirely possible.
