I made a soaker out of an old sweater, lanolized it with breast feeding lanolin, and used it on DD for a couple of weeks. Well, it got a little leaky so I want to wash... But I don't know how. Rinse with water? Can I use regular laundry detergent? I know I'll need to lanolize again after I wash.

Re: How do you wash wool?
You need to hand wash with a special wool wash - not regular soap/detergent. Then lay flat to dry. I THINK there might be answers to wool washing questions in the FAQ. Or you can check out Sheepish Grins. HTH!
MY JOURNEY AS A SINGLE BF-ING, CD-ING, BABYWEARING MOM
This is the method I use. I use her California Baby body wash and a peri bottle to mix the lanolin and water.

Thank you! I have read numerous websites with instructions on how to wash and lanolize wool and that was by far, the most straight-forward and easy to understand. It is greatly appreciate and timely seeing that I will be washing and lanolizing for the first time tomorrow!
