Okay...I'm embarrassed. What's the defination of a "birthmark". Is it only the dark pigmented spots?
R has super light red splodges on the bridge of his nose and at the nape of his neck. I thought it would go away by now but hasn't. It's barely noticeable though. Drives DH crazy---I think we might need to ask the pedi next visit for DH's piece of mind.

A has one on her knee (brown) and one right in between her eyebrows (pinkish/reddish in color). I don't even notice it anymore and it irks me when people call it her imperfection. ggrrrr...
E has a redish blotchy one (several spots in the same area) on the back of her neck.

A small one on his forearm, small one on thigh, and then a spot with no pigment (pretty much white--looks like scar) also on thigh. When he gets mad the reddish spot between his eyes really shows.
DD has a brown spot on her right bu-thigh area and another small one on her left upper arm. She also has the red spots on the back of her neck and a faint line in between her eyebrows. I'm thinking those will eventually go away.

Lucas has two. He has a Mongolian spot on the top of his butt cracker jack and he has an eraser sized brown spot in between his two boobies. It's verrrry light brown but I call it his third nipple even though it's not raised.

This is EXACTLY what DS has. I heard they are supposed to fade by 1 year of age.
I think R has one on his jawline on his right cheek. It's super cute! I'm not positive that it's a true "birthmark", it showed up when he was about 2 weeks old.
Dd has a hematoma on her belly above her belly button. We've had it checked and were told that they usually go away within a year or two. I hope so because I don't want her to be self conscious about it when she's older. She does have a real birth mark on her back by her shoulder.

Margo has a strawberry on the back of her neck. Her hair has always covered it. I always wondered how the pediatrician found it so quickly, but after reading this thread, I know how. It appears to be a very common spot!
DS has a tiny stork bite on his wrist. I saw it when he was born and assumed it was a scratch, but it's still there. It's funny because it disappears in the fat roll around his wrist.
He also gets those red marks around his eyes when he's upset/excited. I had no idea that was a thing until I read about other board babies doing it!
BFP #1: EDD 8/29/11, MMC 1/14/11. BFP #2: Damien Isaac born 12/16/11. BFP #3: Rowen Cole born 7/28/14. BFP #4: EDD 9/16/16.
A has a faded stork bite type birthmark at the nape of her neck. It seems more faded than when she was a newborn so I don't know if it will eventually go away
DS has two hemangioma birthmarks. One raised and red behind his ear. And another subcutaneous one on the back of his head. He also has a little freckle on his butt

DS has a strawberry birth mark at the nape of his neck. I didn't realize how common it was there. It has def faded since he was born but it still gets pretty red when he is mad. His hair will cover it when he gets some
T has a small red spot on his bum. I was curious to see if he had inherited the red blotch that I have in between my eyebrows. It faded as I got older but was bright red when I was excited or upset as a baby. Doesn't look like he has it.

E's got one on his bottom!
I know they're not really birthmarks, but I keep wondering when freckles show up.

Here's a picture where you can see it.
T has a perfect little tiny black beauty spot on her left knee and a light brown spot on her upper left thigh. So cute!
