XP: Avent Isis duo vs. Avent twin electric

Does anyone know the difference besides the price tag? I currently have an Avent Isis duo on it's last leg. It was a close friends and she used it for her 2. I'll need a new one by the time I start school in August. I've just seen pictures online. They look exactly the same except the twin electric is half the price. (???)

I don't know much about the Isis Duo but I bought the twin electric based on some recommendations from some of the ladies on this board, and I've been pretty happy with it.

The only thing I didn't like was the "5-petal massage cushion" silicone shield covers - I found it really painful trying to find the exact right position for my nips.  Once I gave up and took them off it's way more comfortable and works just as well.

Really? I like the petals. I tried it without them and found it wasn't as comfortable. Let ask then does the twin electric still let you set the pace and suction by pumping a few times manually then hitting the grey or bluish (?) button on the back? That's what I like the most about it. If it still has that feature I'll go with it. It sucks that it's not battery operated too, but still a nice pump and I like that all the avent products screw into it.

  • Yes, you still have the manual control of suction!  My favorite feature :)
