Swim suite

I just needed to share this with people who understand, I finally bought a swim suite for this summer since we're camping with all my cousins at my grandmas lake this weekend.  I got a tankini I hate one piece suites but it's extra long with sheared sides, easy access for nursing and good support for the girls.  I got a frumpy bottom that coves my butt.  I ignored the size written on it and just was happy that I looked good in a swim suite. I've had three kids and 2u2 so my body isn't what it was but I still want to feel comfortable in my skin and I'm finding buying things that fit this body  is helping a lot.  I hope all of you are enjoying the summer!  What things have you found to make you feel good about yourself??

Re: Swim suite

  • Just the other day I went shopping and found a really cute summer dress. It's a strapless dress so it is easily pulled down for nursing with the best support in a strapless garment that I have ever seen. It is also empire waisted so it hides what remains of my belly, and shows off my legs which look much better now without all the water weight! Now I just need to find a way to inconspicuously wear it every day since it is one of the few things I own that I feel I can wear with confidence :P .

  • I bought several comfy, nursing-friendly, tummy-concealing sundresses before LO was born.  I'm not one to leave the house in sweats and t-shirts ever, so I've made an effort to put on real (albeit comfortable) clothes every day since LO was born. It makes me feel good to still feel somewhat pulled together.
