We call it a "spondoolick" or a "doolick" for short. It's a cockney slang term for money, and I tell you that pacifier was the most valuable thing in the house when my daughter was brand new and wouldn't stop crying!!
We called it "Sookie" but DS2 could never say it, so it came out "T". When it was time to get rid of it, we took him to Build-a-bear, and stuffed it in a bear. He named the bear T-Bear, and now (a year later) T-Bear still gets drug around the house all day long!!

We only called it a pacifier, and corrected family when they called it something else (mostly because DS didn't know what they were talking about unless they said pacifier). DS started calling it a "da par". I'm not sure if he just had a hard time saying pacifier or that was just something he liked saying. Luckily, when he finds them now he puts them aside for "brudder".
Haha, I like that. I'm not opposed to binky or paci, I was just looking for something different. Guess we'll have to wait for LO to name it herself if she hangs onto it that long.

We call them nunny. When my niece was a baby she named it that and it stuck for the rest of them.
Wrangling babies since 2010
