Any Antibody or Rh ladies out there?

I was just found to be positive for the Anti-BIG E antibody. Apparently this means that my body will attack my baby's blood cells and can cause anemia in the baby. It seems that most of the time these babies only require mild medical interventions but sometimes these babies tend to be delivered early and/or need some NICU time. Anyone have any experience with antibody problems?

  • I just PM'ed you a resource that I found super-helpful when I tested positive for the anti-D antibody (which ended up being a false positive). Best wishes to you and your baby... hopefully your baby will need only minimal interventions!
