i'm trying to choose between 2 options:
A) in-home daycare that is $40 per day, 10 minute drive, 1 to 4 ratio.
friend's mom watches her daughter and my daughter at their house. $55 per day, 3 minute drive, and the other kid is 2.5 years old and LOVES my daughter. i would also be able to go over and breastfeed once a day.
keep in mind...we're on a major budget b/c i'm a student! but i'm wondering if the extra $15 day is worth it for the more attentive care.
Re: help me decide: A or B. (childcare)

Is everything else equal?
Do either want to drive with you daughter?
Do you pay per day services are used OR per day they are holding your spot?
sandandsea--- good questions! the grandma (option b) basically isn't trained, have insurance, have a sick policy, no curriculum, etc. it's really just her and her grandchild playing in their room (while the girl's father works from home in another room).

Not just the 1/2 attention, but it would be worth $15 to me to be able to breastfeed & see LO. When I worked, I hated being separated from LO and it would have made the day so much better to have that to look forward to. Also, you can get a real-time update of how little one is feeling, doing anything new, etc. Think of winter colds, learning to walk, etc... it would be such a luxury to pop in and check on LO in person.
