TMI, but do you smell ... down there

I wash sometimes up to three times per day just because I feel like I smell dirty down in the girly bits region. It doesn't smell like infection or anything like that... but, rather like I haven't taken a shower in several days.

I have started using the feminine wash clothes, but that isn't helping either. Any advice would be great! thanks!

    are you still bleeding post partum? it might just be because of that.

    Your baby is only 3 weeks old???? Totally normal. Your body is getting rid of stuff that's been in there for a long time.

    Oh! Forgot to mention (thanks for the reminder). I am not bleeding anymore. I occasionally spot, but only on days when I over do it. A tiny bit of discharge and that is it.  Thanks to all who have posted.  PS. what exactly IS it that I am getting rid of?

    It is normal since you are still healing.  I would be very careful about putting any deodarizers down there especially if you needed stitches.  I would contact your ob to see if it will get infected if you use anything.

    Yes!!!!!!!  DS is 4 weeks old and it smells like vinegar and unfresh all the time.  It is def the post pardum stink!!!

    Yes! that is exactly how to describe it. I didn't have stitches, so I am not worried about infection from that, but thanks to all who have helped "soothe" me.

     :)

    It'll go away, but just an fyi...your bleeding may return, so keep something handy.  Mine went away for about a week at 3 weeks pp, returned for a week or so and is gone again.
