Internals....

So, when did they start giving you internals?  I had one last week, but I'm wondering if it's because I told them I had a lot of pressure.  He said my cervix was closed, but I didn't think you got those until later in 3rd tri.  Also, when you started going every 2 weeks, do they do them each visit?

    I haven't had a single internal yet.  I believe that starts for me tomorrow (about 36w), and then going forward at my weekly appointments.

    I will start getting internals at 36 weeks.  Also, I had appointments at 28 wks, then 31, 33, 35, 36, 37, etc...

    My OB didn't do them until 37 or 38 weeks with my last 2 but I'm sure that if I were having a lot of contractions or pressure, it would have been sooner.

    i started going every 2 weeks at 28w. ?i started going weekly at 36w. ?internals started at 36w and have been done every week since then.

    I started going every two weeks at 28weeks, then every week since 35weeks. They didn't start to do internals till 36weeks and they gave me the option. Thos co-pays have become so expensive!! I pay $40 each visit, plus gas(45min drive) and toll.

    Mine started at 36 weeks when I began my weekly visits (and I have had them at each visit since).

    My doc starting internals at 36 weeks.  I have them at every weekly visit now.

    I didn't get my first internal until 38 weeks.  She will start them at 36 weeks if there is a reason (having contractions or whatever) otherwise she waits.
