im just going to hold my dogs, i truly cant stand tortured dogs, i almost killed my 14yr old SIL once... she started to show me a puppy video, the pup is tortured and burned... NOT cool... ohh and it was kids her age doing it, they did get caught... youtube by the way.... idiots!

We rescued a puppy on Sunday; he came from a high kill shelter in MO that only keeps dogs for 7 days before euthanization and this poor guy was on day 6. When we were signing paperwork for him, I noticed this mess of a dog lying on the woman's floor and asked her about him. She had rescued him a year earlier in a mall parking lot; the car in front of her threw him out of the window. He was blind, deaf, had two broken legs, and was riddled with bullet holes (some new, some healed over). She nursed him back to health and he has been living with her ever since. I don't think I will ever be able to understand how cruel and horrible some people can be towards animals. I understand not being a pet person but the torture and abuse is way outside anything I can comprehend.

What a horrible story kiki Good for you for saving a pup's life.

There is no excuse for hurting an animal. They are so innocent and defenseless. It'd be liek harming a baby or a child.

I'm in tears. I am so glad some good person found him and now they are looking for the horrible excuse for a human being that did this to her. Animals are so innocent and defenseless! It just breaks my heart. It amazing how well animals bounce back and still love people even when they are treated like that. She sure deserves her name.

Whoever did that is such a scum bag. I'm an animal lover too and I find that behavior to be disturbing and vile. I feel so bad for all the suffering that dog had to go through. Seriously hope the person is caught and punished!

I won't even describe what I would like to do to people who do things like that to animals. We just rescued a pit bull-lab mix that was someone's pet (he's trained), most likely stolen or picked up while lost, and used as a bait dog in fights. His tummy was gashed open with a bite wound. All he wanted was love, and someone just dumped him. It makes me sick. We've found him a loving home, but he's just one out of many.

I'm crying, this is awful. I don't understand people. I don't have dogs I have cats, but they are my babies and I would never do anything to hurt them! I cry when I accidentally step on a tail or something! :-( I wish we could do the same thing to this person and everyone else that hurts animals.
