Convertible Car Seats for Small Cars?

I know this topic has been discussed before, but I can't find the thread.  Do you have suggestions for a convertible car seat that can rear face in a small car?  My friend doesn't have LATCH, only the lap/shoulder belt, so I'm not sure installing it in the middle is an option.  Her kiddo is heading to TALL too, and I remember some people saying their LO's legs got cramped RF.
Same sex couple TTC with donor sperm.  I am 35 and carrying.  Endometriosis and DOR.
AMH 0.5, AFC 5-8, FSH 7ish

IVF #1 - antagonist.  Empty follicle syndrome.  1 retrieved, 0 fertilized.
IVF #2 - antagonist.  Ovulated early.  3 retrieved, 2 fertilized, 0 blasts
